Pavlenko & Poberezhnyuk Law group in cooperation with the Securities and Stock Market State Commission of Ukraine and with the Institute of Professional Financial Managers holds a series of seminars, dedicated to the new Law of Ukraine on Joint Stock Companies.
The seminars take place in all big cities of Ukraine. The seminars’ speakers are the representatives of the Securities and Stock Market State Commission of Ukraine – from the state regulator of the stock market and barristers on corporate conflicts from Pavlenko & Poberezhnyuk, Law group – on the side of practicing lawyers. The first seminar took place in Kyiv on April 22, 2009 and gathered over 50 participants – the representatives of Joint Stock Companies from different sectors, incl. banking, agrarian and industrial.
On April 27, 2009 a second seminar took place in Dnipropetrovsk. “We noticed that the participants of the seminar found the answers to the questions on complicated forms of the newly adopted law on Joint Stock Companies. The discussion format of the seminar helped both the speakers to share the problems connected with the new law coming into effect, and the participants to realize how to bring companies’ documents in compliance with the new law”, said Olena Petrova, barrister of Pavlenko & Poberezhnyuk, Law group, one of the seminar’s speakers.
